Rodney D. Summerville II
President
Endeavor Acquisitions
In the world of mineral and royalty acquisitions, there aren’t many people looking out for the landowner. Rodney wants to change that perception. Listening to Rodney talk about his “First Deal” you hear his determination to do just that. That acquisition helped a landowner save his family’s land from foreclosure and get out of debt, and also provided Rodney with the motivation to launch Endeavor Acquisitions.
With Endeavor now in eight states and growing, Rodney is now launching Capacity Energy, a full service land company, to help the landowner on the backend as well. “We want to grow rapidly, but growing at the pace of consumer confidence appears to be the sweet spot for what we want to offer from acquisitions to land services,” Rodney explains his philosophy. This strategy is making its mark in the industry, based on Endeavor’s superior product and service.
Brook C. Aslin
CFO
Endeavor Acquisitions
Becoming a landman out of college for an Accounting major seems strange, but for Brook, that is exactly what he wanted to do. “In order for me to be successful, I wanted to learn the Oil & Gas business from the ground up.” And it is paying off for Brook, who is also working on his MS in Accounting while being Endeavor’s CFO. You can say Brook is a number’s guy.
Brook oversees all financial transactions from acquisition to payout, which has positioned Endeavor to be a fast growing mineral and royalty acquisitions company.
When Brook is not tabulating numbers, he keeps busy playing baseball in a competitive league or restoring classic cars with his twin brother. In true Renaissance man style he is also an ardent history buff and music lover.
Saniya A. Hemani
General Counsel
Endeavor Acquisitions
In the land of Oil and Horned Frogs, this SMU Mustang is quickly making a mark for Endeavor. As fast as the Oil & Gas industry moves, so does Saniya . Graduating from TWU with her law degree and quickly passing the bar, Saniya joined Rodney and the rest of the Endeavor team to make land acquisitions a focus on bringing benefits to land owners.
With Endeavor now in eight states, Saniya oversees all contracting and partnerships for the company while also developing Human Resources for internal growth. She shares the president’s philosophy and desire of achieving personal success through the successes of her clients.
A newlywed, Saniya enjoys the idea and serenity that is influenced by her Bikrahm Yoga routine, “life goes on…enjoy it!”
Cesar Mancinas
V.P. Business Development
Endeavor Acquisitions
Proving that the desire to be in Oil and Gas has no borders, Cesar, a Mexican National, learned about the industry while in college at UNAM Durango earning his BBA. A highly motivated individual, Cesar knew to get into and learn the oil & gas business, he had to go to the North Texas area.
Cesar has been an integral part of putting the company on the map. Starting as a Senior Landman, Cesar quickly became a person who can find opportunities in deals due to his “ability to talk and view options at all levels of the business.” His success was soon realized.
An avid tennis player, Cesar takes his competitiveness and “persistence” to court, when he is not with his wife Katherine of four years and their cats, Che and Frida.
Joy Moore
Title/Curative Manager
Endeavor Acquisitions
To say Joy is detail oriented, would be an understatement according to her co-workers. As Title Manager, the details matter. Reviewing title, curing any title defects, and submitting bonus payments, all takes an eagle eye and a sense for order. “My job fits my personality” Joy claims.
Joy has been managing the details for Endeavor’s success since mid-2012. Starting as a land(wo)man in the industry, the 15 year oil & gas veteran quickly found her enjoyment in the details of land acquisition and provides that service for Endeavor with accuracy and style.
While running the details at Endeavor, Joy also runs the details at home with her three children ages 18, 6 and 4. Work-Life balance is a priority for Joy who feels “this is what I was meant to do!”
James Patrick Murphy
Assistant to General Counsel/Landman
Being raised in an Oil & Gas family, Patrick was destined to work in the industry. A graduate from UTA in Political Science and SMU Law, Patrick thrives in his role as Assistant to General Counsel being adaptable to the needs of a young company and having the perseverance to see projects through.
With Endeavor now in eight states, Patrick has worn many hats which matches his animated personality. Since joining Endeavor, Patrick has “been key parts of all aspects of developing the company” while supporting the General Counsel.
While his activities at Endeavor keep him on-the-go, Patrick also keeps a very busy volunteer schedule at his church in many different roles as well. To relax from work and his volunteerism, you might find Patrick taking dance lessons or at one of the many coffee shops around town chatting it up with the patrons. Easy to say Patrick likes to stay busy!
